Broadway sounds like a terrible place where it's always the same 5 shows with a different cast. Am I wrong?

I wouldn't know since there's a bigass ocean between me and Broadway but a tumblr friend of mine is a big Broadway fan and she constantly reblogs shows I've never heard of. So there's probably more than that; not all productions are equally popular and famous though.

You can always try off-Broadway shows; they are smaller and the shows change more often. Or off-off-Broadway. That's still a thing, right?
