Re: Fit a song to a fictional relationship

Your mentioning "Sword and Shield" reminded me that I once saw a really good Starsky & Hutch vid to that song. The vid was apparently intended to be slash, but it didn't really come off like that except for the fact that the song is implicitly romantic. I mean, I DID find it via an award for "Best Gen Vid." (The song fit the topic -- Starsky's protectiveness towards Hutch -- really well, FWIW).

Also, "Rolling in the Deep" will always be about Charles/Erik to me. Most of my preferences are inspired by fanvids because I really just don't know enough songs.

Oh, I do have one idea I came up with on my own: "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails reminds me of Spike/Buffy, in a twisted way.

I feel that way, too.

For me it's "This Unavoidable Thing Between Us" by Evermore for House/Wilson, "I Gave You All" by Mumford & Sons for Charles/Erik (Though "Rolling in the deep" is perfect too, and I also really love "Call me" by Shinedown for them), and "Life Less Ordinary" by Carbon Leaf for McKay/Sheppard.

Oh man, same here.
