Also in honor of Downton Abbey, when potential storylines that could be really really amazing are dropped in favor of something that's boring, stupid, and has already been done.

*A moment of silence for Mary's friendship/kindred-spirit-ness with Branson that never happened, and her decision to be a hands-on mother and assertive single woman in charge of property that never materialized, because she was too busy wasting her time mindlessly juggling these two bland suitors all through season 4*

And then to reintroduce someone who stole but is actually virtues, Edith and Mary sniping, love triangles and Bates being suspected of murder.
