Pretty much. I just don't want to make yet another account that I'll only use for this comm. Plus I have two online identities that I want to keep vaguely separate (really, anyone who was so inclined could find out that they're both me with a minimum of effort but I like having the illusion of a buffer between "us"), and as an anon I can talk about the things I post under both names without worrying about "who" should be saying what.

As someone who had multiple accounts here and still sometimes goes anon, I can attest to the hardship of remembering how I was logged in when talking about specific things.
