I get so fucking disgusted with the way some anons pile up on named users on here. Just scroll on, for fuck's sake.

Same here, anon. It's fucking disgusting and it seriously pissing me off. It has gotten really malicious lately. .

It is fast becoming the main reason why I'd never get an account. I would be able to handle it if I was targeted.

Yeah, it really has. Honestly, it makes me wish we had IP logging on all the time as it's usually better when it's on.

But then we get people nagging about how Case will sell their IP address to the mob or whatever instead. (which I personally think is ridiculous, but that's just my opinion)

I'm surprised ip logging isn't already on. It's gotten ridiculous and it is harassment. Plus there's been a rise in the kill yourself comments.

Tbh I think the main reason people seem to be against it is because they don't want to be caught on their shit.

Wouldn't be surprised if they were. Honestly, I never liked the whole anons are cowards thing, but in the case of these people, they really are. They're too chickenshit to do this named or while ip logging is on for the most part.

Yeah, there's a whole bunch of reasons for why people would want to be anon (like social anxiety to name one), but to be anon just to harass someone like a lot of these anons are doing that is just plain cowardice. At least own up to your shit.

Exactly. A combination of social anxiety and laziness are two of my main reasons. That and the thought if I ever cause wank, even if I own up to it and apologize, people will just keep bringing it up all the time. Like I could word something wrong and that mistake could follow me no matter how much time has passed. A few anons here can't seem to let shit go.

They really are. Even if you're trolling just own up to it.

Yeah, those are my reasons too. I mean, if anyone wanted me to, I could link to them everything I've said on here for the past couple of days or so (I can't remember what I've said much further back than that). I would have no problem with that, as I've not said anything I see as offensive. But if I had caused some wank I would be really anxious about it following me. That combined with hater anons are basically what keeps me from just making an account (The process of actually finding a username is another). But really, I commend all named users on here and am sorry to see that so many of them receive shit.

Exactly. I already feel anxious enough as it is when commenting anon so I'm really hesitant to even consider getting an account. Like I feel stupid and embarassed enough when I make a ridiculous comment anonymously, being a named user and getting people who drag that shit up would be painful.

Oh yeah, I can't think of a decent username either.

This whole mess has really given me a new appreciation of the named users here. Kudos to all of them. Especially the ones with hater anons and who keeping here in spite of them.

You forget the chief drawback to going un-anon, at least where you're concerned: it's really obvious when you reply to yourself.

I completely agree with you. It's gotten over-the-top and nonsensical.
