Ooh, yes, this. Especially of you could somehow get to work at any time -- like, if you're at work thinking it the idea would be typed up back at home. I write so many good things at work in my head during downtime and then I totally forget most of it by the time I get home. Or while you're in bed just about to go to sleep.

NGL, I've thought this too. Sure I want the world to become a safer, healthier place for all of us, but computers in our brains or the ability to share your thoughts in this way would be awesome. (Terrifying, but awesome.)

I want this (oh god all the gross things I would no longer have to embarrass myself by commissioning from people...). This and the ability to just project the words I'm thinking down into a text file so I don't find myself attempting to type shit out right before bed or while I'm walking, because of course that's when I get all my ideas for fics. :P

I'VE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR YEARS.

Seriously, I want to be able to hook up a computer to my brain so all the awesome/weird/weird-but-awesome fiction-y stuff I think of will no longer be stuck in my head, with me having no clue exactly how it should be written down.

That and my brain has lots of music in it, but I can't actually write music, so...
