I just want the ability to have what I'm thinking get typed out on paper. I think it would make it so much easier for when I have a fanfic idea, but I can't get it out on paper the way I want.

Ooh, yes, this. Especially of you could somehow get to work at any time -- like, if you're at work thinking it the idea would be typed up back at home. I write so many good things at work in my head during downtime and then I totally forget most of it by the time I get home. Or while you're in bed just about to go to sleep.
