"tumblr" nose might not have been the best blanket term to go with OP, but I get it, sort of? Super rosy noses aren't a problem to me there, but I've associated tumblr hivemind with another trend that grind my gears before. It's just because I happen to see it most there that it turns into "tumblr why" sooner than "artist why" so *shrug*

I can't believe you guys didn't hear about 'tumblr noses' before. OP didn't invent it, it has been a thing for at least a couple of years.

Stupid art style that for some reason becomes popular on Tumblr = people associating it with that shithole.

Yep, even Tumblr calls them like that. I did a little bit of googling and the secret pic is from Tumblr.

(ayrt) I haven't said anywhere in my comment that I wasn't aware this style existed earlier, so I'm not sure why this response was for me? But that's why I said it wasn't the best choice of words to go with "tumblr" instead of just "red". I agreed with OP in a sense it wasn't notable to me anywhere else before.
