Aside from Gattaca, I also discovered Princess Bride through the New York public school system. I have no creds, I cannot lie.

Oh man, The Princess Bride. I love that film.

The only film I can really remember discovering through school, that is, not one I had seen before (ignoring anything since September just gone, as I don't think being a Film student counts) is Flowers In The Attic. And I think that's all I have to say, really.

I'm afraid I can't rate it. First off it was long enough ago that my memory of it is fuzzy, and I was at that young-teens age where all I cared about mostly was the scandal of the incest etc. But on top of that, I can't say it was a good film, at all. The plot was over the top and, well, stupid, and I can't say the acting was much better. So all I can suggest is, if you really wanna see it, don't pay for it. It's not worth it :D
