Yep! It was made in the early 90s. It's 40 episodes long and you can find it floating around on Bittorrent. The quality isn't that great, so if you're a stickler about that you can order DVD fansubs from here (http://www.quixium.com/fan/anime_dvdrlist.htm).

The anime's really good, as long as you don't mind your anime being over-the-top dramatic.

I read what Lilicious released of the manga, and I've read a few of the mangaka's other series, so I know what to expect.

What's the difference between STD and Premium on that site?

OMG. I've been watching torrent, and though I love the show the quality makes me weep (there were two episodes near the middle that had like this buzzing sound all the way through.... UGH. The things I do for good shoujo-ai). But DVD quality? *glomps*

As gentileschi mentioned, the quality for 1-35 is bad, but the series is so incredibly good that it honestly didn't matter to me (and hell if I'm going to pay someone to burn me DVDRs. Techno Girls, plz to be using BT).
