2. Just...no. I hate craziness in fandoms, which is probably why I don't go to many communities, read fanfiction, whatever. If only for the fandom news. I hate huge stupid fandoms. D8

35. I really get a kick out of secrets like "my friends'll hate me if they know I hate/like this character". SRSLY GUYS, IS IT THAT BAD?! It's a character!! Friends are stupid if they can't handle your opinions.

what I got out of their 'complaint' is that being different and being a genius is really an overdone trope. can anyone possibly be a genius and actually be normal? I think so. I think the secret poster thinks so, too.

I found it incredibly hard to believe in the manga as well.

Yeah, but it's overdone because well, it's usually very common. Geniuses are usually so far out there that of course there is going to be some kind of eccentricity about him. They're wired differently. He's not just smart or whatever. He's beyond in a way.

Anyway, of course a person can be a genius and be normal. But I think the author's whole point was that Light is a genius and IS normal, but he's also the antagonist of the story. L, while being the protagonist in a way, is not normal by any means and looks like the guy you wouldn't walk on the same side of the street with.

Oh God, I'm such a loser for writing this much on L. I have no life.
