Seems pretty straightfoward to me. If everything is your choice regarding a pregnancy, then all the consequences are yours, too. The good guys will step up, the dickbags won't. And that's the reality of "nothing you say or do matters."

Fortunately for you, there are laws that say men have to pay for their children, whether they wanted them to be born or not.

Or, depending on the state laws that say you have to pay for ANY child (even if it is not yours) if your name is on the birth certificate and you don't contest it within a short amount of time, you can enjoy years of child support. :D

Or if you are raped by a woman, you TOO will have to pay child support if she gets pregnant. Because, not only should you suffer the trauma of rape, you should pay for that rape for 18 years. Serves you right for being raped!

Go get raped dick.

It's horribly sexist for in cases of statutory rape where the victim is male and the predator is a woman for the boy to be forced to pay for a child he conceived. The law suggests that even though the male is a boy and the woman is an adult, the male will always have power over the woman at no matter what age. That the woman will always be the weaker one. Which is such utter sexist bullshit.

Like in this case where a 20 year old woman slept with a 14 year old boy, became pregnant and now a few years later the woman is coming after the victim for child support. The court says he has to pay. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/09/02/statutory-rape-victim-child-support/14953965/

wow. that is super gross.

Both of these situations are fucked up, but let's face it, shrink to a level of almost non-existence in face of the number of deadbeat dads out there.

Re: Rant Thread:

(Anonymous) 2014-09-25 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
How do deadbeat dads relate to this? Are you saying that because deadbeat dads exist, rape victims being forced to pay child support are cosmic justice? Or...?

You know, I don't know why people complain about rape on campuses when there are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more people being raped in Middle Eastern countries.

Re: Rant Thread:

(Anonymous) 2014-09-25 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
Nope, not saying it's cosmic justice, just that it's exceedingly rare. Society's interest in fathers paying for their children outweighs these incredibly rare circumstances.

How do they relate? You do know that people can do more than one thing at once right? Even government agencies!

I was hitherto unaware of this fact, nonny. Thanks for pointing it out!
