Tying my shoe laces and wrapping up gifts :c

People who can wrap gifts beautifully are gods among men. I worked in a post office and had to wrap packages. I STILL wrap present terribly.

Have you tried different ways to tie your shoes?

They really are. Sometimes I get gifts that are wrapped so beautifully that I just don't want to open them. It's like a work of art dammit.

I know how to tie my shoes in what is apparently called the "Bunny Ears" way*, which is regarded as the way that children who have just learned to tie their shoes do it in my corner of the world (if not everywhere). But I do even that badly as it comes undone in like five seconds. All other ways are somehow just too advanced for me, and I just can't get it right. Which is just sad and my friends and family rightfully tease me about it.
