I feel like I have things together until I have to go to the bank and stare blankly at the deposit / transfer slips hoping the knowledge will come to me.

I suck at keeping things tidy, and cleaning things before they get out of hand.
I think I need to be appalled and to have the added stress that people are coming to my house and they are going to see what a disgusting human being I am before I can actually clean something.

Any horizontal surface is a place for me to leave things.

I'm afraid of changing ceiling bulbs because I have bad balance on ladders.

I can't hang pictures either. I feel like I might be hammering a nail into something important, like water or wiring. Sticky hooks are the best invention ever.

I feel your pain! I can't ever remember how to write checks! I only write one like....every other month so by the time I have to do one, I have forgotten how to do it.

The light bulb thing is understandable. I hate going on ladders because of my terrible balance as well.

And hanging pictures if hard. Especially when you try using a drill and your walls are super hard. And then you make a big hole that you have to hide with a picture frame. Not that that has happened to me. <.< >.>

All of these things are me. Except the picture hanging, which I've never had a problem with. But definitely the untidiness and the 'nearest available flat surface' organizational system.
