Sorry, that's crap. He chose to have sex. Pregnancy is a possible consequence, and he should have to live with those consequences too. She has to carry the child, so she gets to make the choices in that regard. Once the child is born, if she wants to keep the pregnancy, he should be responsible for the person he helped to create.
