Cooking, even simple things (I failed at making rice in a rice cooker the other day).

(Anonymous) 2014-09-25 05:52 am (UTC)(link)I had a rice cooker (standard equipment in Korea) and it was one of the really simple ones with no fancy buttons. You just put in some rice, put in twice as much water as rice (I'd often do like a Dixie cup of rice and two of water) and turn it on, and it turns off automatically when it's done (when the water's gone). You can also make barley in a rice cooker and it comes out quite nice.
