Yes. Never read the books and actually don't care much about the plot. I'm just in it for Clair being awesome and for the sex scenes that are equally about her and about men being sexy.

YES! The wedding-night scene, where all the focus was on him doing that head-thrown-back, arms up, mouth open, eyes fluttering kind of stuff that usually only women do. It was awesome!

Oh, yes, the sex scenes have been totally reversed. The oral sex scene in the first episode was just all about her getting pleasure, not about how hot she looked. And the oral sex in this episode was all about her having more experience than him and him looking hot as well as his pleasure.

And he asked if it was good for her and clearly cared about her enjoying it too, even though he had been told women don't enjoy it.

Basically, sex on this show is totally a reason to watch.

It really is! I loved that she was bold enough to go out with no underclothes so she and her husband could have a little fun out and about, and he was totally into just going down on her.

I wish they'd have found a younger guy for Jamie, because believing *that* guy was a virgin was a bit much, but !

Man = virgin, Woman = experienced and sexual is *another* awesome twist that i loved.

Yes, totally about the flipped experience levels.

I can't say I know much about Scotland in that time period, but would virginity have been as unusual as it would be today?

I honestly don't know, except he's a man on the run, whose been in war, and spent a lot of his time in dire straits, as it were. It just seems that a little 'comfort' on some cold Highland night wouldn't have been unusual, please we saw prostitutes that no one seemed to particularly upset about, or tried to shame, so.... I dunno.

The show is quite spiffy! It's so pretty, and the people are fun, and i really do love the actress who plays Claire, she's gorgeous and so tough and smart. Jamie is a bit 'eh' for me, but i enjoying all the Gaelic and the scenery and the history. One more ep to go! Is there going to be a season 2?

I'm going to be completely shameless in saying I'm enjoying Jamie far too much, I like Claire, the accents, etc etc etc more relationship scenes please.

One thing though, he didn't work her up at all. He straight up just plunged himself inside her. I know not everyone needs foreplay (or likes it) but I was under the impression she would have liked some. Granted, he is inexperienced. Which means I expect more Episodes in Erotic Escapades with Mistress Beecham, and her favorite pupil Jamie Fraiser. Yes, I want her to show him the ways.
