(Anonymous) 2014-09-25 02:25 am (UTC)(link)It was just the fact that I was getting her coins ready and getting out bills when she decided to change her mind and the whole thing just sent me in a tail spin. She decided she wanted to give me a five instead of the twenty she just gave me and that's a whole different number than what was there. My brain just sorta locks up and I couldn't think. @.@
I was also worried about the till too and how that would come up. I know I shouldn't worry that much but I really need this job you know?
Re: AYRT
(Anonymous) 2014-09-25 03:57 am (UTC)(link)I getcha, anon. Of course it's totally obvious that you just subtract fifteen from the change you were already giving her, but in the moment people are giving you new paper numbers while you're halfway through counting the old paper numbers and now there are paper numbers everywhere and if you count them wrong you mught have the wrong numbers at the end of the day or even *gasp, hushed voice* displease the customer. Arithmetic is easy, but money and pressure make it hard.
