Ha. I love this silly idea that "shutting down 4chan" would do anything. It's not like if the site shut down, all the shitty users die. They find new places. They rebuild, and then everyone will be languishing "Oh why won't they shut down [new site]??"

For the record, the shit pot is usually only stirred by three or four boards out of like, 30. /b/, /r9k/, and /pol/ are the constant offenders, but /v/ gets in on it if it's related to gaming in any tangental way. Shutting the entire site down would do exactly fucking nothing, and it'd put a lot of perfectly normal people out of a great set of imageboards for a broad swath of interests.
