You do know that Tumblr has all of that stuff as well right? Except when they are telling people to kill themselves, it is in the name of social justice.

eta: I mean, there are pedophiles on Tumblr that have people protecting them because of various reasons. People who send death threats because the person did something stupid/bad. People with tumblrs dedicated to how much they want to commit genocide against white people or men.

Also, due to how Tumblr works misinformation is EASILY spread and hard to correct. At least on something like reddit, things can be upvoted and downvoted.

Yeah, I was going to say, there are lolicons/shota-lovers and shit on tumblr (shota is surprisingly common if you know where to look). Hell, there are even nazis on tumblr. Just because it's not in your face compared to some sites, it doesn't mean it's not there and that it's not thriving. Death threats, harassment, and sometime even rape threats are a genuine problem.

See, that is what bothers me. It isn't that pedophiles are there*, because no matter where you go, it is going to be there. It is that people on Tumblr defend those pedophiles because somethingsomethingoppression. If you are a female pedophile, you get even MORE support. Because...the patriarchy.

And yeah, many shota fans (especially the non con lovers) can be so hypocritical that it boggles the mind.

Oh yeah, the hypocrisy when it comes to shota and loli shit is mindboggling. Like, I've seen a few people condemn men for enjoying loli and in the same breath make excuses for women who enjoy shota. The cognitive dissonance is amazing.

And it isn't limited to that disgusting shit either. Men sexualizing teenage anime characters is apoarently sick and wrong, but it is okay if a women does it. Just what.

The spreading of misinformation is probably what irritates me the most. You see a post saying some blatantly inaccurate shit and before you can go, "Actually that's wrong," you see it's already got 100k notes and gone viral and since nobody can actually read comments on Tumblr corrections go unnoticed. Ugh.
