She is guilty of getting consent through fraudulent means (basically, the sex scene during I'm under your spell. Tara doesn't remember she's angry with Willow, for something Willow did to her. It's the magical equivalent of a roofie), but I can see how that's not as bad as Warren's outright rape attempt and murder, and Spike's rape attempt.

Spike is a soulless vampire, and Warren is a sociopath. We don't expect better of them. We DO expect better of Willow. That's why the fans were so upset with her.

(This is a bit similar to the above thread with the argument about SJWs and neo-Nazis, btw.)

Oh,I totally agree. I just put the Warren and Spike examples just to avoid the 'But they did worse' comments that cropped up top thread.

What Willow did was despicable, and personally I consider it rape, even if I can see the argument for it being 'just' dubious consent, no matter how nicely Willow defenders try to paint it.
