Continuing to have my applications for seasonal employment ignored. Trying not to devolve into a puddle of hate over this and some other issues. Wishing I could just live in a wifi-equipped cave somewhere and write fanfic forever instead of attempting to be part of society, partly because I'm tired of society and even more because I'm tired of my fandom being full of terrible fic. Probably watching Elementary with the best friend.

We all wish for a wifi cave and no responsibilities. I hope you get a call back for some of your applications though. I know how challenging it can be to find a new job (I was recently unemployed for a year).

Yeah, coming up on close to a year for me, too. I am just so sick of looking, and fighting through all the crap applications on terribly-designed websites and spending hours doing their stupid little personality quizzes and then having nobody even bother to send a rejection.

Oh, I would kill for questions like that. I'm talking about the garbage where they give you a statement like "most people are basically honest" or "it's difficult for me to smile when I'm having a bad day" and you have to click a button indicating how strongly you agree or disagree with it. I want to set fire to whoever started this trend.
