That tumblr post is right, though? You're failing to distinguish between:

"This wall has been painted really well, you've primed it properly and the paint has gone on smooth with no bubbles or cracks. You haven't dripped paint anywhere and you've cleaned up after yourself, well done!"

and

"I hate the color of this wall, it's ugly."

A wall can be painted professionally and well. But you don't have to like the color to recognize it's a job well done. Likewise, you can love the color a wall is painted, but you can acknowledge that the painter did a sloppy job and made a mess of the actual painting process.
