I don't mind discussion. But I don't understand why people accuse me of trolling if I write a critical post about a movie or a character and then tag it with the name of that movie or character.

That's what the post is about. Why then shouldn't I use the tag?

I don't have a problem with going through people's responses to my posts (I FREAKING LOVE the back and forth exchange) but when I post something critical of a character's treatment or a movie, it'd be nice to be able to have a discourse rather than being accused of being a hater or a bigot or a troll and told to get the fuck off the tag and stop spreading hate.

I just think that reaction is a bit…much.
