I know I should 'walk away' rather than let myself get worked up over a kink meme, but I like being involved in a fandom again and there have been some excellence prompts and fills.

But it's so different from kink memes of yore (2005), and I don't like it. Half the posters aren't anon, I'm already getting irritated with some of the fanon, and every other prompt is an outline detailing, point-by-point, everything the author needs to write (why bother? I know not everyone can write but you wrote about 70% of the fill.) And I'm REALLY sick of "I've only seen X in fic, what about Y?" "Everyone writes X but [it'd be better if we had] Y" Yes yes, you're so original and special and Better Than Us for coming up with the opposite idea and you must let us know before asking one of us to add filler words to your prompt. And a lot of prompts have this SJW coated veneer.

Dang kids should get off my lawn.
