A TV show with LGBT character(s) where that's not their defining characteristic and the plots don't only revolve around their love lives. I know some books exist like that (which I need to read more of) but most shows always revolve around romance (I couldn't stand QaF).

Only one character in an ensemble cast, but I can offer Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Captain Holt's sexuality is completely incidental 95% of the time, he's happily married, and unless the subject of discrimination he's faced comes up (which it does very rarely) the other characters treat it as something completely normal and not worth remarking on.
