On the bright side, creepy 35+ year old men don't usually hit on the ugly kids. On the dark side, they either think that you're so nice/naive that they can sweet-talk you into going home with them or they've scented the insecurity on you and think you'll be flattered. Point out that when they were your age, you were 6, and move on.

I keep pulling the same subset of guys and I'm 90% sure this is why. I don't have a problem with older guys because I'm almost thirty, but I look so immature I always get carded for cigarettes, so unless these guys are uncommonly good at reading my real age, it's creepy.

Honestly? It is likely because you're giving off some sort of emotionally vulnerable vibe. Creepers have a radar for the sort of young woman they believe will be an easy mark. Maybe lonely, a little too nice for your own good, naive, giggly and a bit ditzy, daddy issues, etc.? Do you tend to go along with whatever the crowd says and avoid speaking your mind, especially if it deviates from the rest of the group?

I'm not saying you are an easy mark, mind you, but even a mistaken whiff of that is like blood in the water to predators. If you only attract the same kind of horrible, awful man, then it's definitely time for some blunt self-assessment.

There is also a not-insignificant subset of guys that don't realize that they're being creepy, but are under the impression that all chicks dig older guys. They're aiming for James Bond, but landing right in "creepy uncle" territory instead.
