Sailor Moon! I was around six or so, I think. I would sit in my room drawing fan-Scouts and writing short fanfics all the time. I watched the cartoon on Saturday mornings.

Then I got into other things, then I discovered the internet and rediscovered Sailor Moon with a girl from my sixth-grade orchestra class, and I was like "I'VE FINALLY FOUND WHERE I BELONG" and started doing the same things all over again. I found out that there was more than just what I'd seen on TV, so I tried to find a way to watch it, which was basically impossible in Ye Olde Days before Youtube and torrenting. One of my internet friends sent me burned CD copies of everything after Sailor Moon R, though, and I loved it.

I'm ashamed to say that I bought into the Prince Uranus thing, because I was a gullible twelve-year-old who was told gays were evil. So this way I could go "NO, MOM, SEE, IT'S OKAY, URANUS IS A GUY *IRONICALLY* REINCARNATED AS A WOMAN." Then I decided "who gives a shit" because Uranus and Neptune were so cool, therefore, they couldn't be as evil as I was told.
