When I see threads like these, and all the people so blatantly trolling, I wonder what makes human beings such spiteful animals. I wonder, is it just an ape thing, or would other animals be just as awful given the chance.

Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if neanderthals hadn't died out. How we would have treated them throughout the ages. I look around at my fellow human beings, all eight billion plus of us, and I feel alone. Why are we the only animals that evolved sentience. Why are we so alone, floating on this rock, hating each other, fighting each other, hurting each other. Why are we here, playing our games, living our make-believe rules, until we finally end up destroying each other.

Is there life like us out there, somewhere? Somewhere in that vast inky void, so full of stars and planets and dust. Are we truly alone.

I'm not going to speak for the other ones, but I'm not trolling. Sometimes people will disagree with you and have valid viewpoints of their own, like that racism and sexism isn't something impossible to overcome and that there is a point in not giving up against it.

Dismissing every single anon here that disagrees with or took offense at what op said as a troll only shows you're completely closed off to considering that the opinions here that disagree with yours are even valid or real enough to hold. Disagreement doesn't equal troll.

Are you black anon, or are you a white person who gets their panties in bunch whenever someone implies you have a leg up on someone else.
