Man, I feel you. I love that gut-punching, too scared to look around you feeling that I've only ever really had from creepypasta before, especially when it lingers. Very rarely have I seen or read anything else that's stuck with me in that exact way; as much as I love horror movies and books, it's not what I'm thinking about when I find myself walking alone at night.

At least part of it comes from how without context creepypasta are; it's harder to separate myself from the events that are happening because the characters lean towards being so anonymous that they could be anyone. For this reason, too, I love short horror films. This is a pretty damn good site for it, if that's your thing.
