I think it can make a big difference. I know that I was going through a really hard time, and I was entirely alone. My roommate left, my parents disowned me, I was living in a city where I didn't know anyone, and all I did was go to work and come home to take care of my cats. I was really, really struggling, and I was about to give up. So, every day, I would sit down and play through Shadow of the Colossus.

Eventually, I found something else to live for, but for a long time, it was just my cats and a video game. When I didn't have any person to rely on, I had some little pixels on a screen. So it can help, ya'know?

And maybe I would've made it even if I didn't have Shadow of the Colossus, but I don't know that. And frankly, I don't want to try again.

That is a touching story. Thanks for relaying it in a calm manner, too, and not anonymously. That makes me change my mind a bit. I can understand that, I think. I went through a point in my life where my videogames and my pets and my art were really the only things that kept me going, but then I sought help.
