This.

This is why this secret bothers me about this secret. It's not being defensive about OCs (I don't really think I have OCs, just headcanons.) But asking them to talk about something you think they'll enjoy talking about that you're not interested just to be their friend is just...wrong and sneaky.

Yep. I've had people do this to me, too. It's no coincidence that I'm no longer friends with those people because they also turned out to be shallow, backstabbing assholes.
