This is only loosely related, but I once read an Iron Man/Firefly crossover that was amazing. It was the first Iron Man fic I'd ever read, and I feel like I'm constantly chasing that level of greatness when I look for Iron Man fic.

So if it's even on AO3, it's probably not the:
Iron Man chapter in a Firefly/crossover series,
short Kalee finds the Bots,
cut-away fantasy sequence episode of Community (Even though it's a good Community story http://archiveofourown.org/works/301709),
Harvey Specter attending a costume party for client Tony Stark,
crack fusion told from the POV of Captain Fury of the Hellcarrier, Poseidon,
or "like Firefly only not" fusion with X-men and Avengers.

So is it The Captain and His Courtesan by Winterstar or Advances in Thermodynamics by Lexie?
