Having all their female characters acting like 5 years old to appeal to otaku is so much better!

yeah should have gone for a boob grope instead

(Anonymous) 2014-10-11 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
Yep, it would be better. Groping boobs is less disgusting and offensive than shit like this

Yes, sexual assault is better than girls who act young.

Problematic scene > Problematic character

At least with the former you can still get good characters. Compare something like Negima to Kyoani's shit. One has good female characters and sexual fanservice. The other has no sexual fanservice but the characters are just moeblobs whose only purpose is to be a fap fantasy to otaku.

NA

Negima's character are totally wish fulfillment though. I don't get how that's any better.

Setsuna and Konoka are great. They were my favorite part of Negima.

Except that they are constantly sexually exploited for the audience and it is condoned by the narrative. I've read it, too, anon, and it grossed me out.

I'm not justifying sexual faservice, I dislike it. It's just that I think moeshit fanservice is even more disgusting.

I can watch a show with tons of boobs and panty shots and still enjoy it if the story and the characters are good. But I can't stand moe shows, they don't treat the female characters like human beings and as a woman this offends me a lot more than sexual fanservice.

Except those panty shots and huge boobs aren't treating them like people, they are literally sexual objects in that case. It offends me a lot more to be seen as a sexual object there for the consumption of strangers than moe stuff.

Are you an anime charcter?
Because then you're not the one being seen here, 3DPD. How narcissistic of you to presume otaku are looking at you.

Re: DA

Because moeblobs aren't sexual objects amirite?

Both are extremely problematic.

Outside how awful moe is about what constitutes womanhood and female sexuality, it also creates 1 dimensional female characters whose only purpose is to give male readers gratification by pandering to what they want to see in female characters, rather than actually having interesting female characters. These characters are rarely developed and they mean absolutely nothing to anyone except as a patriarchal fantasy about what an ideal woman is about. The core of moe is problematic and this is exactly why.

"As a woman" as if you're speaking for all women with your stupid retarded wrong opinion. As a woman, fuck off.

Re: DA

(Anonymous) 2014-10-11 10:12 am (UTC)(link)
Holy shit, you're retarded and have no reading comprehension.

as a woman this offends me ME = Because I'm a woman, moe offends me. I'm not saying every single women should be offended by moe.

Learn to read or leave this world, moecancer. But what can you expect from a retard that believes that the only fanservice is boobs and assess. A-As long as there aren't any boobs groping my anime doesn't treats women like crap a-am I right guys. Fuck off.

I think I understand what you are saying.

Sometime after the late 2000s in 08/09ish 'moe' did become forced. I find it hard to watch shows with cute girls anymore because of this, it's like they try too hard to be cute and it comes across as forced and boring.

Back even in the early 2000s you could watch a harem or a comedy or a SOL and the main draw wasn't how cute the girls were - that was something for the watcher to dictate. Now it just feels like you're being forcefed the cute to the point where it isn't even cute anymore.

KyoAni really dropped the ball on this. Their Key adaptions were fine and Lucky Star was just pure comedy, but when they made K-ON it was all downhill from there.
