Some of the worst hate she got (that I saw at least) was from some tumblr SJWs to the point that she had to move.

I'm not crazy about Laci, but I think the work she does is definitely needed and she makes it really approable for teens, I think. I also like that she gets people who are well versed when it's outside her field.

I can understand this. Hero worship can easily turn into/be part of crushing. These things happen. Truthfully, your crush is nobody's business but yours, and it sounds like your appreciation of this guy has led you to pursue your dream. I don't think that's a very healthy attitude towards drinking? Like, not that you need to drink, drink or don't drink, it's cool. But it's not like someone else drinking is a terrible thing either. Hope you can work out your issues (not just the drinking thing but everything going on in your life).
