Seriously, secret makers, can you just use names? Because the colour and arrow thing is getting ridiculously confusing.

yeah...I basically just scrolled right on by when I saw the colors and arrows. I can't really see it as worth the effort if I have to play matchies with more than two colors in a coded secret.

Eh, I like the arrows/colours better. It means I can follow the gist of the secret, even though I may not know the fandom well enough to remember everyone's name.

I think the solution to this is to draw colored circles around characters and then color-code the names in the text of the secret.

That said, I’m too busy shipping Rex/ Ahsoka and Obi-Wan/ Qui-Gon and loathing Anakin to relate to the content at all. As her master, Anakin's important to her, but as a character... he's a douchecanoe. I'm happier pretending he just doesn't exist. Sorry!

I empathise with the problem of being afraid of causing any kind of wank at all when you ship a rare pairing. Especially online, people can take offence so easily.

Preserving fun times in small fandom circles has to take precedence, although it can be alienating when I feel unable to speak my mind, even about trivial things.

It feels lonely, to be honest, to have to play polite all the time, even though I know it's for the best long term.

Not to mention that its impossible to know what others will take offence at anyway. It can all feel a little sad and pointless.

For example, currently I hate the juggernaut fave epic fic in my small fandom. I wish I didn't. I want to like it and join in. But I don't even dare mention how I feel about this fic online in case bad feelings are caused.

OMG, I was just about to leave a comment asking, "Doesn't Anakin look a lot like Sam Witwer? (Who did the voice for and was the model of Starkiller's character in the Force Unleashed games.)

... Then I went to IMDB, and now I feel stupid. (I've never seen Clone Wars though, so...I had no way of knowing, haha.

I feel you, OP. Like, deep down I know that there's a 99% chance that it's never happening, but dammit I want to believe. I would even be satisfied if the show ended with a scene that could be construed as shippy by Korrasami fans and the creators later confirm that they really were in a romantic relationship

S: I feel like so many fic writers writing them (Ahsoka and Rex) romantically (and sometimes even just as friends) completely undervalue the importance of their (Anakin and Ahsoka) relationship, sometimes even to the point of cutting Anakin out of the picture entirely. After how much emphasis was put on their (Anakin and Ahsoka) relationship in the show, I don't get how people can claim Rex is more important to her. Equally important, possibly, but not more.

S!B: The fandom for this ship is so small, I don't want to ruffle feathers.

B!S: I also feel like all the people who ship them (Rex and Ahsoka) don't also ship them (Anakin and Obi-Wan) which is a huge wasted opportunity imho
