The Fast and The Furious

Jurassic Park, and if that doesn't count, then Big Trouble in Little China.

I think it counts. There's tons of action in that one.

Seconding Big Trouble.

I love that fucking movie.

Big Trouble is one of my all-time favorites.

Does The Warriors count? If not then Aliens or Terminator.

"Warriors, come out and plaaaaaa-aaaaay!"

Tough call between Die Hard and T2. Guess I'll go with Die Hard, since T2 isn't strictly action.

Pacific Rim, if it counts.

Favorite "good" action movies are probably Aliens, T2, then maybe Reservoir Dogs if it counts. It probably doesn't though.

But my favorite cheesy action movie is Con Air. Con Air is magical. I'm always looking for something with a bunch of wonderful character actors in it, and Con Air takes the prize.

I love Con Air.

Con Air is soooooo good, and I think it takes a certain type of person to not just enjoy it as a cheesy action movie but to truly understand how great it is on like 700 levels while still being a cheesy action movie. Like, it's got to a point where I can tell whether I'm going to be good friends with someone or not based on how much they like Con Air.

Recently I just really enjoyed The Expendables, because it's like the meta of an action flick that still actually is an action flick.

Also, does Skyfall count? Because then I vote Skyfall.

The Winter Soldier is up there now, but I love the Indiana Jones series, The Fast and the Furious, The Matrix films, Kill Bill, and although not your typical action flick, I feel like The Adventures of Tintin might even count?

Also Uncharted. (Jk jk, Uncharted has too much shooting to be an action film. Close though!)

Hidalgo (2004)

Such gorgeous horses.

I like both the visuals and the plot. ^^

Those were good, too, but, oh, what pretty horses.

4 different horses played Hidalgo and V. Mortensen bought one of the horses after the filming. Also it was windy on the dessert set, so they had problems keeping to the timetable. Sand everywhere.

Hmmmm. Aliens maybe? Or Jurassic Park, or The Mummy(does The Mummy count? Because if it counts then that's it).

Also Die Hard, Speed, The Terminator, The Goonies, The Bourne Identity

The Bourne trilogy! I will watch Matt Damon stab a man with a pen all day and get my Pamela Landy actress lady fix too.

Also Mission Impossible 4:Ghost Protocol. It's my favourite of the series because of how cute it is.

And the Kill Bill movies are so fun for me ♥

I have to choose one? It's just not possible! I love the action movies of the 80's and 90's. I know a lot of them have sexist stuff, but honestly I get so many nostalgic feels from watching stuff blow up and classic one-liners that it doesn't bother me. I still think guys like Stallone, Schwarzenegger, and Willis are some of the best action character actors of all time.
