The problem is most likely you. You're probably holding them to a higher standard. In fact, your secret pretty much says so.

you say they don't act like how you think women should act, despite you being a woman. So, how should they act? Why don't they act like real women? This reeks of "they don't act like how I think my fellow women should act, therefore, even though we have an increasing majority of female characters who act like people first, it doesn't match up and thus they're written horribly."
