Which is why I chose not address the nature of the OP's frustration at all (what the hell, brain?), just the part where they claimed that As a real twin, they find all fictional twincest offensive. This seems like taking it a bit too far to me, and also seems to imply that real twins' frustration at twincest are more legitimate than the feelings of non-twins.

Basically, I was trying to say that, because the stories aren't real, there's no reason to feel like the author wrote it with any intentions on real twins or especially you as a twin.

Like, your last statement (which I can get behind) clarified your middle statement a little more, but I still want to address it.

I always take issue with the mindset, and no offense to you, that somehow experience doesn't give one more of a say than inexperience.

For example, I'm a criminology and polisci major. If I get into a political discussion on, say, Facebook, someone is usually going to say that I'm only in college, not graduated, so there. To which I must respond, "Excuse me, but what are you? If you don't have at least two years of straight classes in this shit, that usually makes me more knowledgeable than you."

A real twin has far more insight into the actual relationship between twins than someone who only has traditional siblings. Now, they shouldn't feel victimized because that's just stupid, but I can totally understand the feeling of knowing more than the average joe.

...If that's what you were getting at anyway. I might just be an idiot tonight.

Oh, I understand that, and I do think real twins would probably feel twincest closer to home than normal people. But on the subject of frustration alone, I think if you are offended by twincest on principle, your feeling is legitimate whether or not you yourself are a twin, so if they're frustrated... it's just that, frustration. They shouldn't feel like real live twins as a group are being targeted.

I don't really know what I'm saying at this point either.
