DA, but how about doing something about the torrent of abuse that is poured on people who object to the IP logging. Some of the bullying in these threads is getting right up there with the "trolls" they are supposedly protesting against. It just comes across as being a licence to bully in a way this comm accepts.

Wow. Your standards for "bullying" and "torrents of abuse" make you sound incredibly sheltered (and I'm saying this as a former victim of bullying who is very sensitive towards the topic). The comments have been mostly sarcastic or several shades of "please don't be ridiculous". Show me a single comment that comes even close to the level of abuse dethtoll and jaybie have been receiving.

Could you link me to the specific threads that you think are bullying?

Note: Disagreeing with someone (even if it's a lot of people disagreeing with someone) is not necessarily trolling nor is it bullying.
