Well, I've been this author (so many times, it feels like), and it's not fun from the writer's end. :( I'm writing characters I love, and I understand there's not always a fandom left for them anymore, but still, I wish someone would love them with me instead of a) looking down on new fans for daring to write, or b) not being involved in the fandom at all because they got bored years ago.

I seem to find things at the wrong times, I guess. Anyway, I've still written for shows where I've received little or no feedback, but it is hard sometimes.

In fact, I once wrote a story that I meant to be an RPF AU in a small fandom. I ended up rewriting it as original story. I do not regret this.
