-So many Teen Wolf characters that were killed off or left without being fully realized. Erica, Boyd and Cora spring immediately to mind but there were others.

-This hard sci-fi book that I can't remember the name of. Aliens invade Earth thinking the puny humans will be easy to conquer, only they didn't account fr the vampires. Awesome premise but the delivery was so dry and boring I couldn't finish it.

-So many fics with interesting premises in the hands of a mediocre (or even bad) writer

Agreed on the fic and Teen Wolf. I spend an awful lot of time wishing Teen Wolf had just been in an endless hiatus after season 2--just enough to keep the fandom going but never actually producing another episode--because season 3 was bad from beginning to end for characterization. Just...so much wasted potential. :/
