I got into Who during the haitus between Eccleston and Tennant, it was the first really popular thing that I really cared about, and I still get all giddy when I see that much shelf space devoted to it. I don't think I'll ever get used to being a fan of something that isn't Star Trek and isn't at least a little obscure.

The hiatus between Eccleston and Tennant? Oh, sweetie...

Wait, you're using hiatus properly....these dorks are referring to the period of several years when Doctor Who was not on the air and the franchise wandered into audio plays and original novels.

The Hiatus was something like 16 years long! 1989-2005.
