Re: Representation of Black People in Hollywood Films

It depends. A lot of black characters are in roles in "black movies" where everyone is black, and many of those never see mainstream theaters because movies with white leads dominate the box office. A movie could have 13 black leads and be watched by 5% of the population, and a movie could be a Hollywood blockbuster that's watched by every other person in the United States starring one white guy. You can't only measure by numbers.
