Re: How to make goal and be responsible

This is an opportunity to take stock, OP.

If you can still withdraw from your courses, consider that option. Just one less course can make your burden seem so much less.

If you can't but you think you'll still be able to finish your assessment, just late, EMAIL YOUR LECTURES/TUTORS/PROFESSORS. If you have a reason like family issues or health issues (including mental health issues), explain you have mitigating circumstances and ask for an extension (as long as you're prepared to go to a doctor/counsellor and get a certificate). If not, still talk to them. They don't want to fail you if they don't have to, so if you can pass by handing in your assignments late, do that.

Though also know that failing a course (or more) isn't the worst thing to happen in the world. Plenty of people have without it affecting their prospects. It's not ideal, but it's definitely not the end of the world, especially if you learn something from the experience.

On the topic of 'suspecting your brain is malfunctioned', I don't know what that means exactly, but it sounds like you are having a hard time. Please talk to someone about this - most universities have a free counselling service at least, so you can talk to them - they have students who are struggling with their uni work some and see them all the time, so you know they'll be able to give you some advice. If you have an understanding friend, think about talking to them too - just letting someone else know you are having a hard time and knowing that they still are your friend can make you feel so much better.

Once this semester is over, you can think seriously about whether you want to continue with this degree/uni/whatever. But that's for later. Until then, just take everything one step/day/assignment at a time.

I've been where you sound like you are, OP, so I'm not just talking out of my ass. I wish you all the best OP, and I promise you it can get better.
