Okay -- here are my suggestions for now. If you can, drop some classes. Hopefully, since this is your first term, you are taking some classes that are general requirements for all students and some that are major-specific. Drop the major specific ones, since those seem to be giving you the most trouble.

Do you have an academic adviser? If so, set up an appointment with them. They are supposed to be able to help you with charting a course plan, and also give you a reality check if you're in over your head (or if you just need to step back and take a deep breath).

Many universities offer life skills workshops or classes that deal with things like time management, coping with stress, etc. Consider taking one, if that's an option. If nothing else, it might help you build a support system.

Many universities also offer job counseling. If you really aren't sure where you're going in life, these people are paid to help you.

Don't be afraid to slow down a little and to ask other people for help. It's easy to be overwhelmed when you start out, but it's okay to need a little extra time and help to figure out where you want to go from here.
