Whatcha doing this weekend?

I'm playing Aliens: Colonial Marines which I picked up for $15 and I have to say I'm really not seeing where it's so terrible.

It may be because in the past month I've played most of the Aliens FPS games made in the past 20 years and they're all pretty mediocre. Alien vs Predator '99 is especially irritating.

Same thing I do every weekend, Dethtoll

I might be going to GA for a Civil War reenactment, or I might be sitting at home on my couch being antisocial. Haven't decided yet.

Study for a math quiz and write up a proposal on why HR Giger is the artist I want to borrow from for my final in painting. I'm pretty excited about that.

And possibly rewatch the first two and fourth Aliens movies. For inspiration or something.

In theory, studying and reading lots of books for school.

In practice, desperately trying to prepare for Dragon Age Inquisition. I don't think I'll be able to play it until Christmas holiday anyway, but I'm still finishing up Awakening and then all the DLC, omg..

Going to a Doctor Who meetup tomorrow. Tonight, drinking and watching a movie with my roommate. Other than that, staying in from the cold, getting some household chores done that I've been putting off, and spending a lot of time online as usual.

Everything I have airbrushed recently needs touch-ups, even the stuff I thought came out in one coat, and the replacement for the other broken part of my airbrush finally came in, so I'm going to spend the daylight parts of the weekend painting ponies. I'm also hoping to get some writing done (not doing NaNo, but I do still need to bump up my output), possibly including scribbling out some fanfic for that "Ghost" music video that's taken over the Internet.

I've a got a six year old who is dying to see Big Hero Six. Truth be told, so am I. We are going to see the movie tomorrow. Can't wait.

Drawing, lots of drawing, and staying inside because it got freaking cold here. Still trying to figure out how to draw a world map. I try to work on it, but mostly end up staring at for a while thinking "WTF do I do now?"

Playing Xbox (I'm currently working my way through the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for achievements on my new gamertag), hanging out with my sister-in-law and nephew, and maybe I'll write something at some point?

But yeah, mostly Xbox and hanging with my sister-in-law, which will also involve Xbox.

Writing an exam, hanging out with my friends and playing Diablo III (because they have terrible taste in games), then Alien: Isolation and some more Advanced Warfare MP.

I finally have a car so I should go someplace, but I usually default to saving money and staying in. I already saw Fury so probably no movies. I go to shit stream if they're showing something that makes going worth it.

Aside form the usual weekend errands, in my free time I will be writing more Kael'thas and trying to squeeze in a few more levels of 12X XP in SWTOR before my sub runs out.

My uncle's come down for the weekend and we're going out for a family dinner on the Sunday for it, other than that we'll probably be playing board games.

I have a work project that I need to finish by Monday, so I'm mostly going to be working on that. Otherwise, I want to catch up on the shows I've DVRed and do some reading. Then Sunday night I have to pick my parents up at the airport.

But right now I'm debating whether to go and get some food. I wasn't planning on going back out once I got home from work so I changed into pajamas, but now I'm realizing I don't have any groceries. I also don't really feel like putting real clothes back on and going out into the cold, though, so I'm sitting here being indecisive. :P
