Does anyone else find it weird . . .

. . . That it's treated as normal and inevitable that white women DON'T objectify black men? I mean, has it really been that long since black men were treated like an exotic Other?

I think it's more a question of the kind of objectification going on, especially in fan circles.

What's funny is that in certain weird misogynist circles (and, with partial but not complete overlap, cuckold fetishism) it's absolutely TAKEN FOR GRANTED that women prefer black men, because (again, taken for granted by these guys) black guys are aggressive, dangerous, muscular, and have huge dicks.

Google "thug" and "beta" together if you don't believe me, or if you just want to get rid of some excess faith in humanity. If you really want to freak yourself out, google "cuck" and "bull" together.

I don't find it weird, since white men objectifying black woman seems to have gone up in response. It's like the "man" coded out the "black," at least in the case of movie actors, but black women didn't get that same treatment. :/
