I'd be pretty glad because representation, let alone good representation that isn't treated as a (rape) joke is almost impossible to find.

Also I'd make them canon in fics so there's that.

Do you mean like in situations where someone is like "oh, haha, the gay person is gonna rape some poor straight person" (because obviously all gay people are rapists) and play it for laughs? Or something else?

My thought was that they were referring to prison rape jokes.

That's kind of what I meant...or unless you mean gay people getting raped in prison. I don't guess it matters but jumping to rape jokes seemed like kind of a weird leap to me so I was a little confused.
