Eh, I think it's more likely we're predispositioned to be attracted to the familiar; when people of other races are close to us while growing up, or become a regular part of our everyday lives later on, attraction naturally follows. It's not about race specifically, it's about the instinctual inclination to reject and fear anything that's strange to us and our tribe, whether it's different skin or a different religion or whatever. Usually the people who find it most difficult to date outside their race/culture/whatever were raised in homogenous communities, which once upon a time was every human community, but that's no longer the case.

Except people tend to isaolate from each other and stick with what/who they like , which isn't necessarily something different from you.
